Marketing Director

NORMAN Beauty is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Director to lead our national growth initiatives in Indonesia. This role is critical in crafting and executing impactful marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, boost sales, and build a strong emotional connection with the modern Indonesian beauty consumer.

As a core leader, you'll design and deploy tailored marketing activities that reflect NORMAN’s ethos—conscious, sophisticated, and performance-driven. You’ll spearhead efforts across branding, digital marketing, influencer partnerships, public relations, community building, and retail marketing, ensuring each move delivers measurable results. You’ll work closely with founders, creatives, and cross-functional teams to shape a brand that stands out in the local luxury beauty market.

This individual must be highly entrepreneurial, data-driven, and deeply connected with Indonesia’s consumer landscape. Previous experience in scaling beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands is essential.


Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Growth Execution

  • Build and implement a holistic marketing roadmap aligned with company objectives, covering online and offline channels.
  • Drive brand presence through multi-platform campaigns—integrating paid media, KOL activations, and brand-led storytelling.
  • Align product and promotional strategies to key market trends and consumer insights.
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets, focusing on efficiency and ROI across CAC, retention, and conversion.

Brand Leadership

  • Define and protect brand tone, identity, and visual consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee campaign planning, from concept to post-launch analysis.
  • Develop retail partnership marketing strategies in sync with NORMAN’s premium positioning.

Influencer, PR & Community Building

  • Lead influencer strategies, from seeding to long-term partnerships with creators who embody brand values.
  • Manage media relations and local PR agencies to secure earned media and increase credibility.
  • Organize customer engagement initiatives such as loyalty programs, pop-ups, and experiential events.

Data & CRM

  • Develop customer lifecycle strategies to maximize retention, LTV, and engagement.
  • Lead performance analysis and generate insights to refine marketing strategies continuously.
  • Stay ahead of beauty trends, competitor moves, and cultural shifts to keep the brand forward-looking.

Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on beauty, personal care, or lifestyle sectors in Indonesia.
  • Strong track record of building and scaling local brands with tangible business impact.
  • Deep understanding of Indonesia’s beauty consumers, digital behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, branding, PR, influencer engagement, and CRM.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, able to operate both strategically and hands-on.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
